Privacy policy

The short version: on the free plan, your goals never leave your device. We could not read them if we wanted to.

What the free version stores

Everything — your goals, dates, and the days you marked — is stored in your browser's local storage on that device. It is never transmitted to us. There is no account, no login, and no profile.

What we collect on the website

• Anonymous visit counts. We use a privacy-focused analytics tool that sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. It tells us how many people visited, not who they are.
• Google Fonts. The app loads two typefaces from Google's font service, which means Google receives the request. If you install the app to your home screen, the fonts are cached and this stops happening.

What we collect if you subscribe

• Your email address, to identify your account and contact you about the service.
• The goals you choose to sync, stored so they can reach your other devices.
• Payment records. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor, Razorpay. We never see or store your card number.

Who else sees anything

Razorpay processes payments. Our hosting provider serves the files. Neither is given your goal content beyond what is technically required to run the service. We do not sell data to anyone, ever, and there is no advertising in the app.

How long we keep it

Synced data is kept while your account is open. Delete your account and we remove it within 30 days. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@finishby.io and we will act within 30 days. On the free plan there is nothing to ask for — clear your browser data and it is gone.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
