Plain terms for a small app. By using Finish By you agree to them.
Finish By ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by [YOUR LEGAL NAME], [YOUR ADDRESS]. You can reach us at hello@finishby.io.
Finish By is a tool for counting down to a date and marking the days you worked toward a goal. The free version stores everything in your own browser. We do not receive, see, or store the goals you enter in it.
The free version requires no account. If you subscribe to a paid plan you will create an account, and the goals you choose to sync will be stored on our servers so they can reach your other devices. You keep ownership of that content. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train anything.
You are responsible for keeping your own backups. The app has a Backup button that copies your data out as text. If you clear your browser's site data on the free plan, the data is gone and we cannot recover it.
We may suspend an account that does any of the above.
Finish By is free. There is nothing to buy, no subscription, and no card details are taken. If a paid add-on is ever offered, it will be described on the pricing page and these terms will be updated before it goes live.
If we change the price of a plan, existing subscribers keep their current price until they cancel or change plan, and we will tell you before any renewal at a new price.
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The free version works offline and keeps working even if our servers do not.
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account by writing to hello@finishby.io. We may end your access if you breach these terms.
The app is a countdown and a record of days. It is not advice, and it does not guarantee you will finish anything. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [YOUR CITY] have exclusive jurisdiction.
If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
